Young Entrepreneurs

Through our background in education and business, something we are passionate about is giving young people who have a business concept help to start their business and get it to market. We are specifically looking for young people who are wanting to use their idea to make a positive difference in the world. We will be highlighting and promoting those who already have a product to sell as well as creating mentoring groups for those who need guidance. Meet our first Young Entrepreneur! 

Of course, we had to start our Young Entrepreneur program with One Tribe's very own tiny world changing Assistant - Mahli. 

Mahli started her Social Enterprise - Mwah by Mahli in 2019 when she was just six years old. She creates lip balm and bath and body products (assisted by her tribe of teen and adult helpers) and is passionate about social justice. Mahli has chosen to donate 20% of all sales to support Water Aid. After taking a Covid effected break, Mahli has relaunched her enterprise with new products and drive to build her own mini empire! We sat down with Mahli to talk all things Mwah by Mahli. 

One Tribe: Mahli, why did you want to start your own business? 

Mahli: I wanted to help people and I like making things, so I thought it would be fun. 

One Tribe: What do you hope to do through having your own business? 

Mahli: I hope to grow it bigger and to create more products. I hope I can help lots of children in other countries have clean water like I do.
